First-Ever Mazda CX-60 Driven In Australia Initial Press Reviews

Mazda Australia recently invited Australian’s leading automotive media outlets to sample the First-Ever, All-Hybrid Mazda CX-60 for the first time on local roads.

Located in the stunning Mollymook region of NSW, the attending media were given the opportunity to drive all three different engines available in the CX-60; from the P50e PHEV – Mazda’s inaugural plug-in hybrid, to the brawny 3.3-litre inline six-cylinder G40e petrol and D50e diesel alternatives – both of which are supported by intelligent 48V mild hybrid technology.

An appreciation of the elegant design and luxurious interior appointments in a cabin ‘oozing class’ were common themes, as were praise of the impressive performance and efficiency on offer, regardless of the powertrain chosen.

Here is a sample of what the Australian media had to say about their first drives in the CX-60:

“Mazda has smashed it out of the park with the CX-60 – it’s very impressive… The packaging is so good, it drives amazingly well and it feels like a super-premium place to be.” –   CarSauce

“Overall the new 2023 Mazda Cx-60 is a wonderful new premium five-seater SUV” –   Babydrive.com.au

“The CX-60 looks, feels, and drives like a luxury car should” - Carsguide.com.au

“The [petrol-powered] CX-60 is by far the best all-rounder. It is a strong, efficient, mostly quiet, and wonderfully refined vehicle that raises our expectations of the Mazda brand considerably” – GoAuto

“The inline six gets me excited – you can plant your foot and roll on to the power. It’s the perfect stablemate to an MX-5 at the weekend” – Productreview.com.au

The First-Ever, All-Hybrid Mazda CX-60 is ready to test drive and order now in Mazda dealerships nationwide.
